Nick Verbeet appointed as COO of Dutch Coding Company
Starting January 2024, colleague Nick Verbeet has taken up the position of our new COO. Nick succeeds Gijs Opheij, who has diligently fulfilled these duties over the past years.
Nick Verbeet began his journey at Dutch Coding Company five years ago as a front-end intern, alongside his own start-up focusing on press freedom in oppressed areas. After completing his studies in ICT & Media Design at Fontys, he immediately joined us as a project manager. Nick has been involved with Dutch Coding Company from the outset and has proven to be a valuable asset to the company during this time.
Glenn, our CEO, expressed his enthusiasm about Nick's appointment: "We extensively discussed the future of Dutch Coding Company, and Nick's vision and ambitions seamlessly align with the company's core values. As a veteran in our team, Nick naturally embodies the DNA of Dutch Coding Company."
Gijs will remain involved part-time in a purely financial role. We want to thank Gijs for his dedication and contribution to Dutch Coding Company and look forward to a pleasant continuation of our collaboration.
