Dinner is the perfect moment to bond with family and friends or to meet new people. Why not eat with someone every day? That's what Nibblr is for: with the app, you can join people in your neighborhood for dinner, or host a dinner yourself. Nibblr: Eat, meet, share.
Our approach
One codebase for iOS and Android
With such a new concept, it's important to stay agile and save costs on development, without compromising the user experience. Using Flutter, we developed a mobile application from a single codebase for both the iPhone/iOS app and the Android app. This method - hybrid app development - allows us to maintain the code well, resulting in shorter lead times and lower costs for the client. This way, Nibblr can respond quickly to new developments.

The app focuses on connecting people. Because dinners are easy to create, friends can invite each other, friendships can be made and reviews can be left everywhere, we encourage social interaction throughout. Users can even chat with each other. This is supported by the right choices in the User Experience.
API integration
App with API integrations and admin panel (app CMS)
On the back end of the Nibblr app, we developed a Laravel admin panel that communicates with the app through our API. The client can easily manage the database, and we fully automated certain actions. For example, the system sends payouts every day through an integration with the bank, and users/dinners can be blocked. The admin dashboard also provides full insight into how the app is used.
To make the app work optimally, several integrations with suppliers were built. For payments, an API integration was built with Mollie (iDEAL, bank transfer, SEPA), and the system is connected to Google's Firebase database for an optimized user flow.
