Video streaming Android and iOS app for indoor workouts
CycleMasters is the video platform for indoor cycling workouts. With a monthly subscription, you gain access to numerous professional workouts on-demand via video. To further expand the platform, they were in search of a reliable development partner for the app. The existing iOS app needed to be not only extended but also a version for Android had to be created.
We delved into the existing app to extract best practices. With this knowledge, we designed a technical structure that allows for easy future expansion. This enables CycleMasters to modify content without the need for app updates. With this app, they are prepared for the future, and we are now collaborating on the next steps.
With the app, you can watch videos of your workouts. Thanks to integration with a smart video player, the videos load rapidly. Prefer to watch on your TV? With a single press of a button, you can stream the content to your TV, thanks to the Google Chromecast integration.
CycleMasters is available as both an Android and iOS app. To provide a user-friendly app, we use Google Flutter. We work from a single codebase to ensure a consistent user experience. For components specific to Android or iOS, such as in-app purchases, we have developed distinct flows. This ensures that the experience on both platforms is optimal.
The new app not only provides an improved user experience but also serves as a robust foundation for the future. All content is already dynamic and can be easily adjusted. This allows us to assist in designing and developing new functionalities that will help keep CycleMasters at the forefront of the market.
We were looking for a partner for the development and all future updates of our iOS and Android app. With DCC, we have found a partner who collaborates with us, communicates clearly, and demonstrates incredible flexibility. In our view, these are the ingredients for a long-lasting partnership.
